Truckee Auto Repair

We woke up to find that we had a semi-flat tire. Added to that stress was the fact that I had to be at an appointment later in the day that I could not miss. We called AAA, and they recommended The Auto and Tire Doctor in Truckee. We're so glad that we took AAA's advice. We were greeted by Mason who took in the situation and immediately put us at ease. He engaged with us and acted as "quarterback" in getting the tire fixed. We knew then and there that we were in good hands. Zeke was the technician who expertly and professionally patched the tire...explaining what he did in layman's terms, which was much appreciated. And, Josh was there in the office adding humor and fun. The cost was very fair and I got to my appointment with time to spare. On another note, we thoroughly enjoyed the artifacts and museum-like decor. We are grateful that what could have been a thoroughly unpleasant experience turned into such a positive one thanks to the "good doctors" at The Auto & Tire Doctor.

My car acted up last Saturday. I needed to get a jump start. I went to 2 O’Reillys and 1 AutoZone. All three of them said there was something wrong with my alternator. I dropped my car off to have it checked Monday morning. Josh called me in the morning and suggested that they run a diagnostic. It turned out that nothing was wrong with alternator and I just needed a new battery. I’m grateful Josh took the extra step to make a recommendation, which saved me hundreds of dollars. Auto Dr is always there when I need them and I trust them.

Great job guys replacing my GMC Yukon's transmission. I made the right decision to use the Dr.

Excellent , timely service. I was stuck on the interstate for 5 hours before the tow truck came, and the Auto Doctor let me have it towed there without hesitation. I gat it back a week later and it is running great. I will definitely use them again.

I was on a drive from Kansas City,Mo to Rancho Cordova,Ca.Along the way I put diesel fuel in my tank in Elko,Nevada.I was a few miles from Truckee and eventually had it towed here.Though I had to leave the car over the weekend, they performed the work,and I’m happy to report I drove 1,000 miles back to Kansas City without any issue.Everyone there was nice,friendly and very professional.I’m very glad it was towed there, especially since I wasn’t from the area.I believe the pricing was very reasonable.I highly recommend them.A big thank you to everyone involved.
