The Auto & Tire Doctor
On the way to Burning Man, our 32' Class A motorhome had a blowout on I-80 at midnight, in which the engine died as well. All the auto shops were closed, of course, but the tow truck guy took us here as he felt they were the most reliable RV shop in town.We talked to their technician Allen the next morning, who unfortunately informed us they were so booked up that they probably wouldn't be able to start work until Monday! (This was Thursday morning). Since Burning Man was also starting on Monday, that meant we were going to miss some unknown amount of the event itself...We ended up getting a tow to mechanic in Reno that was able to look at the RV that same day. But the reason I'm writing this review is because Allen was tremendously helpful through this whole process. He hooked us up with a super-reliable towing guy (who inspired a separate review), helped us speed the process by taking us to the tire store the next door (and having one of his mechanic squeeze in the tire change for a mere $15). He was also just ridiculously friendly and good-natured.He took a stressful situation and actually spent quite a bit of time throughout the morning helping us put together the pieces for our solution. And Auto Doctor only got a $15 tire change out of it. VERY much appreciated.
