It's always refreshing when a vendor in any service indicates we really do not need something we thought we needed...in this case, a tire rotation. We were pleased with the repair you did on our damaged tire, and your waiting area with magazines, refreshments, and TV, plus rest rooms makes the time go fast. I have always enjoyed the service I get, ESPECIALLY now that Auto and Tire Doctor opened up their express lube shop. I just went in yesterday for an oil change, and sat for a very short time relaxing in their nice lounge. My tires needed rotating and my brakes checked as well. They took care of everything, even as far as driving my car to the other shop for the the tire rotation, all while I drank my coffee and read. Very sweet deal! All took under an hour.

I recently drove up to Truckee from SF for the weekend with my wife. Unfortunately my car took a turn for the worse. It was late Friday night and a quick Goole search, I found myself in the parking lot of The Auto & Tire Doctor. They have a key drop off envelope full of instructions. Dropped the key in the box and left my car. In the morning I received a call from The Auto & Tire Doctor. A very friendly person informed me with a quick inspection that my car was not too serious, but no one could work on it until Monday. This was not good, giving my wife and I had to be back in SF on Monday. I started thinking of car rentals, checking into another hotel, driving back up, several scenarios raced though my head. I was also told that everyone was off that day for their 35th anniversary party and if I wanted to stop by for a beer & BBQ, I was welcome. A few hours later, I got another call from the same person telling me one of their fine mechanics would be willing to work on my car. They not only fixed my car, but I was able to pick it up later that day. My car felt like new and they made my weekend. Great place and great people!
