BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY, THE AUTO DOCTOR. Don't become a Victim like we are. We moved to Truckee recently and I brought my 2020 Dodge Ram Rebel into their shop last week to have very high end new tires installed as well as my a/c fixed and get a quote for new brakes. I went in as a woman by herself to get these repairs done. I was quoted $1000 for front/rear brakes, then the price was increased to more than double that, I said no thank you we will take elsewhere and that they should just focus on tires and a/c, When they removed our very expensive wheels to replace our tires, they damaged each wheel in the process as they said that the lugs were hard to get off due to the lugs being rusted as the truck had spent the last year in Hawaii. One would think after they damaged the first wheel they would have phoned us to discuss how we wanted to move forward. They did not. They then proceeded to remove all of the wheels and damaged every one of them. They phoned us several days later to tell us the truck was ready but they were closing and they needed our credit card number for payment and they would leave the keys in it and we could pick it up. Us trusting a local business was a horrible mistake without seeing the repairs in person. We believed this was an upstanding shop and no way would they take advantage of us, let alone steal from us. The bill was right under $3,000. We paid via credit card and when my husband went to pick up our truck he noticed it looked like the truck was doing a "wheelie." He looked underneath it and noticed our Air Bag system had been removed, all four wheels were all damaged and our A/C was not fixed. My husband tried calling numerous numbers with no avail. He was able to track down the owner who lives in Sparks and had a conversation with him that evening. The owner promised he would make us whole and take care of everything. My husband met him in person the following day (yesterday) and the owner said he would call him with a resolution within 3 hours. Over 24 hours passed and we never heard from him. We both phoned the shop this morning and spoke with Alan, shop manager, who said "do whatever you need to do" and hung up on us. We explained to them that we brought them our truck immediately off the container from Hawaii and have extensive footage of the condition of our truck hours before bringing to them and our air bag system was in place and our wheels were not damaged. Now we have a missing air bag system, four damaged wheels and our a/c system is not fixed, but yet they have $3,000 they collected off of our credit card and we have thousands of dollars in damage to our truck. We are heartbroken that we entrusted our vehicle to this company and now have been stolen from and they damaged our vehicle and charged us for repairs that were never made.
