I cannot express my gratitude to the guys in this outfit. Xmas eve our hood would not latch and we had to drive home. They helped us out immediately with kindness and good will, fixed the problem and would not even accept a gratuity for their work. Honest people, iI would trust them blindly.

These guys really helped me out! I was having issues with my tires and AWD in the snow. Even being booked for a week out, Allan and Josh took my car back, rotated the tires, and checked the system just in time for another storm. All of this without even giving me a bill. Couldn't recommend their service more!

BMW OWNERS PLEASE READ! I called them to find out if they had any experience working on BMWs, and they said they did. I was pretty sure the power steering had gone out on my 330i because it was difficult to steer while idling and at lower RPMs. I took it in and I was given a call later that day. The staff was friendly. They said it was likely the power steering pump and they were going to order the part. The next day I was given another call and they informed me that the part from their supplier was defective. They were apologetic and said they were going to order a new one. The SAME thing happened again. They said they were given a defective pump a second time. They ordered another, and found that the new pump was still not doing the job. They told me they wanted to order a new power steering hose and reservoir as well. I did not authorize them to install a new hose, because my BMW mechanic in Southern California had just replaced it before I made the trip up to Truckee. The alternative was for them to order a new pump and new reservoir without the hose(~800 quote). I authorized it. A few days later they called again and said it wasn't working. They now suspected the steering rack (new quote $1100) needed to be replaced. At this point the car had been in the shop for about 7 days. I was frustrated and I informed them that I would be calling back after making a call (to my BMW mechanic in Southern California). I politely asked for a discount because of the inconvenience the experience had caused me. They said they would try to accommodate that request. I called to confirm with my BMW mechanic back home that the steering rack was likely NOT the problem. He said that I should get the car back home so he could diagnose the problem. I called the Auto and Tire Doctor back and I informed them I would be picking up the car. They quoted me for $200-$300 more than my ORIGINAL QUOTE. I reminded them that I did not authorize the hoses and that I would still like a discount. Thankfully I noticed this and they reduced the price. I picked up the car and they had installed the hoses that I specifically told them NOT TO. Thankfully they didn't charge for the hose(s) they replaced. However, I paid $750 for my car to still have a faulty power steering system. The car was taken back to Southern California and was fixed for $200(!!!) by my BMW mechanic. All that was needed was a flush for the power steering system. Be aware of this before taking your BMW for repair!
