INCREDIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE AND QUALITY WORK. PASSING THROUGH TRUCKEE ON I80 DURING A STORM OUR TRUCK LOST POWER. TOWED IN TO THE SHOP AFTER HOURS. THEY REPAIRED OUR TRUCK IN A TIMELY MANNER THE NEXT DAY AND GOT OUR FAMILY BACK ON THE ROAD. THEY EVEN HAD A LOANER CAR FOR US FOR THE AFTERNOON. THE FRONT SERVICE GUYS WERE SO AMAZINGLY PATIENT WITH US AND OUR FRUSTRATIONS. THEY WERE SO KNOWLEDGEABLE AND EXPLAINED EVERYTHING TO US IN DETAIL AND GAVE US OPTIONS FOR THE REPAIR. YA AUTO DOCTOR!!!!! I WOULD RECOMMEND YOU TO ANYONE!!!!

We were stranded in Truckee 200 miles from home with a nonfunctional SUV and Bob at The Auto and Tire Shop could not have been more helpful. We highly recommend working with Bob and using the The Auto and Tire Shop. He was very clear about the timing and types of services the shop could provide. He is a very honest and kind man who went out of his way to help us including allowing us to keep our car at the shop while we sorted out getting it towed home. We would go back to have our cars serviced in his shop without hesitation.

It was snowing and my chains were wrapped around my wheels after I attempted to take them off. They took my truck into the garage and removed the tires to correct the problem. No charge. Recommend them 100%!!

Very bad experience with Auto & Tire Doctor. They lost the key to my vehicle and waited 3 days before putting in a legitimate effort to retrace their steps (when they finally found it). With all this going on, their communication was awful. They never called me when they said they would, I was put on hold every time I called, and when I did get through to someone, they sounded like they couldn't wait to hang up on me. To make matters worse, I waited at their shop for over an hour to pick up my vehicle after the repair was "done". As they were giving me my car back, they mentioned a squeaking noise coming from under the hood...a noise that I had never heard before bringing my car to them. I took it to another mechanic in Reno the next day where they fixed the problem AND realized that the folks at Auto & Tire Doctor had made a mistake during their repair. The good mechanics at Reno Vulcanizing Works ended up fixing this mistake for me as well. To top it off, the mechanics at Auto & Tire Doctor blew a fuse in my vehicle during the repair and now the radio doesn't work.

Josh was so helpful. I have low air pressure in my front wheel. I had to go to Auto and Tire Doctor and they offered to check the tire pressure. They filled the air in my tire and did not charge me anything.
