We were introduced to their shop after we found ourselves stranded on the wrong side of the road on the Day Before Thanksgiving! Our large truck slid across Hwy 267 and ended up with a flat tire. We had to be towed in, thank you AAA, and our truck has a special order tire size. Of course, due to the date, we had to get down the hill to meet holiday obligations. This wonderful shop was able to scramble and meet our need, and we were back on the road within a couple of hours. As I sit here in my living room, I still can't believe we were stuck in the snow with a disabled vehicle this morning, and now we are home with the truck in the driveway! Did I mention it all happened on the day before Thanksgiving! a day most shops take the day off. They have a great waiting area with a device charging station, free arcade style video games, fresh popcorn and cable TV. Thank you Auto & Tire Doctor for the wonderful treatment.

We got a flat tire when we drove up to our house in Truckee. My husband bought some fix a flat and we drove to the nearest tire repair place which was at the 76 station on Pioneer Trail. They informed us that they were unable to helps us and referred us to Stones Country Tire and Auto Repair. We had to get on the freeway and drive the 5 miles there on a very wobbly tire. We get there and they not-so-nicely tell us that they are full and can't help us. WTH?? We had seen The Auto & Tire Doctor as we were driving to Stone's. We drive over there and they were so nice! They took us in right away and immediately found a screw stuck in our tire. They removed it, sealed our tire, re-inflated it and said, "You're good to go!" No charge! We will be customers for life and will recommend them to anyone who needs auto or tire repairs!

Great place for an oil change. No appt necessary. Took about an hour for full oil service.

When it comes to mechanics, auto repair shops and all things under the hood technicians have a pretty skeptical rep. The Auto & Tire Doctor are few whom hold themselves and their business to nothing short of excellence. From Truckee, I was recently in the PNW for 4 years. Intercity competition raised the standard of service, but not customer service...I couldn't be more stoked to have honest men working my old stag, and supporting local biz that support their local communities.

Really friendly staff! It was only 45$ for an oil change! Also, there is a comfortable lounge area to relax at while your car is getting worked on which is a mega plus when your getting an oil change and have to hang out.

There was a piece of plastic hanging off the bottom of my car during the middle of my work day and sounded awful when I drove. I thought something was really wrong. I was worried that I was going to have to call it a day. They quickly checked my car, removed the piece, and sent me on my way without any charge. I appreciate the service and will return.

Based on today's experience, I couldn't have been happier. Went in, without an appointment, to get my tires balanced. (Was afraid there may be something else wrong with my front end). Within 30 minutes, they called my name and my truck was done. They were very friendly, and I'm also glad the said there wasn't any bad new in the end Thank you!

I went here on the recommendation of my girlfriend's aunt, who is friends with the family who owns it, so I went into this experience completely saturated with trust for this establishment, which I realized was incredibly misplaced. Before driving my girlfriend's 13 year old Camry back across the U.S. to Virginia, I took it to auto doctor to make sure everything was okay to make the journey. They told me it would take 6 hours, but called me back 30 minutes after I left to say it was done and that everything was safe to make it back across the continental U.S. Needless to say, they didn't check shit except change the oil, because it wasn't until West Virginia that I realized something was massively wrong with the car. I went to a mechanic there and they discovered my back right wheel was on held on by one stud and one bolt- meaning that 4 studs and 4 bolts were missing from that wheel and had been since Truckee. Auto doctor never even checked my wheels even though they were entirely aware of the journey I was attempting to make and the shape of the car. They sent me on the road in a car that would have killed me if I wasn't as in tune with my own intuition as I am. It's a miracle that thing didn't fly off and send me spinning uncontrollably to my inevitable death-by-tractor-trailer-running-over-me. Thanks, auto doctor, for your negligence and utter lack of concern for your patrons safety. I recommend pretty much ANYWHERE in Reno as opposed to any auto establishment in Truckee. You might actually find decent people who care about your wellbeing and the safety of your vehicle down there, because that is not a quality I've found in Truckee.

I stopped in on a Friday morning with my trailer that needed it's brakes adjusted before heading over the mountain into the Bay Area. Got there before they opened and the woman inside was very courteous and said the crew would be in soon. When John arrived he said they could help me out as soon as Justin arrived. Shortly after 8am he arrived and I backed my trailer into his work area. Within 15 minutes or so he was done adjusting my trailer brakes! Went inside to see how much I owed them and all John said was "just have a nice day"! I said "really, no charge", you guys are solid and thank you very much! These guys are the best and I'll continue to bring my business to them when I'm in Truckee for sure. Thanks John and Justin!

I love this place! Subaru specialists!!! They are an amazing group of people and they are super friendly. They always take care of me with lots of great professionalism. My Subaru loves getting worked on by them because they treat her right! I am not one for appointments and they have a cool drop off system. This is my favorite because then they can start working on it first thing in the am and I don't have to wake up early to drop it off. I wish I could bring these guys everywhere I go. Tahoe love!
