Just got my tires changed and oil change , jason is very helpful and this place is awesome!

I was very impressed when I stopped by to have what I thought was a slow leak in my tire fixed. When the wait time was a little long, they actually suggested that I might want to see if their nearest competitor could help me sooner. I opted to wait in their comfy waiting area and had a nice conversation with another customer while I waited. It turns out that I didn't have a slow leak, but a faulty tire pressure gauge......I felt a little foolish when I realized the tires were fine but ALL had pressure that was too low. They kindly made sure each tire was pressurized just right and sent me on my way without even charging me. Wow! What a nice surprise.

We found a nail in the tire of our RV. We were less then a mile from here and we waited less then an hour for them to help us. We ended up not needing to replace anything and they didn't even charge us! Thank you for saving our day, on our way to vacation!

Rip off way over charge for services. If your traveling from out of town be prepared to pay some bucks!

Shout out to Don and his tech! We were leaving Truckee to head home to Sacramento and we get two nails in one tire. They put on the spare AND replaced a dead tail light for no charge(I did tip)! So thankful to these guys for quickly get us back on the road!!!!

Note, from the Bay Area so don't know the area well. Visited this shop on a referral from Enterprise after getting a tire puncture going back to King's Beach from Reno. Spoke to Jason on the phone, straight forward and understanding. Got my tire patched in around 30 mins so I could head back to San Jose to drop off the car in time. Waiting room is nice, pretty cool if you're a car guy, they got a boxer 6 in the waiting room, and father spring and strut bar stools. As I was waiting overheard them helping dozen of customers and being overly technical when necessary and over simplified when needed. They were very curious to me and everyone they helped. Would definitely come back if I lived here. $20 for a patch is high but the rush and the customer service is worth it. Also, they have a shop dog, kinda puts them in another league.

We were on a RV trip to Truckee while in Colfax the engine stalled while going up the hill. We lost power. We pulled over and my husband figured it may be a clogged fuel filter. We were pulling a 40' toy hauler with a Harley inside!!! But after talking to our mechanic and several diesel mechanics, they all said the same thing...clogged fuel filter. Well, we took it here to this shop and they looked at it. At the time we took it in, the truck ran OK w/o RV hooked up. But they looked at it and called us and said maybe fuel pump. We never mentioned fuel pump, so my husband called his mechanic again and said NO...probably not that. My concern is it cost $130 for a diagnostic test and we told them what it was!!! They really didn't need do a diagnostic. But oh well! Then when we said only change fuel filter and NO to the fuel pump, we got our truck back. We feel as though because we were not from the area they "tried" to sell us something we didn't need. And then $288 later we were done. Another thing, they weren't that friendly to "out of towners". A few locals came in and they chatted away. One day we sat for 20 min before anyone asked us what we needed. It's just not cool to over charge and try and sell people things they don't need for their car. Shady! We do not recommend this place for repairs!

The Auto Doctor is an incredible place to work! Being on the "other side of the counter" I have learned so much about this industry and how not all repair shops are "out to get you". You just don't stay in business for over 33 years by treating people unfair The Auto Doctor prides itself on taking care of the customer. Things don't always go as planned, like any business but we give it everything we got 100% of the time. Best team in town! Thank you for providing us all with a great place to go to work every day.

Stay away they lie. Don't trust them. They continued to charge me and never resolved the issues. If you want to waste your money be my guest. Owner's no need to respond it's too late. Besides, your words are meaningless.
